Kleemann impact crusher takes home German Design Award

(Photo credit: Kleemann) FRANKFURT – Kleemann’s Mobirex MR 130(i) PRO impact crusher has received the German Design Council’s German Design Award.
“The modern impact crusher, the Mobirex MR 130(i) PRO, makes all-electric operation possible,” the German Design Council said. “At the same time, the design impressively reflects the requirements of functionality, performance and ergonomics.”
The Mobirex MR 130(i) PRO is the latest addition to Kleemann’s PRO line of impact crushers, and is designed for primary and secondary applications in soft to medium-hard natural stone crushing and recycling.
Wirtgen, Kleemann’s parent company, shared that the machine earned its way to these honours through a combination of its sustainable and ergonomic design mixed with its high performance.
“The Kleemann plant impressed the jury of the German Design Award with a combination of environmentally friendly drive concept, ideal functionality and user friendliness in interaction with a striking design,” Wirtgen said in a press release.
The German Design Awards are presented annually by the German Design Council, which was founded in 1953 by the German Parliament.
