SUWANEE, GA – DEVELON has announced the DD130 dozer, a mid-size upgrade to last year’s DD100, the company’s debut model in North America’s dozer market.

The DD130 is designed for road construction, mining, and forestry applications such as grading, leveling and site preparation. The machine competes in the 140-hp and over category, with a weight of 14,446 kg and maximum speed of nine kilometres per hour.

The dozer’s six-way power tilt angle blade stands at 44 inches high and 124 inches wide, with an angle of 25 degrees. This multi-way design provides increased precision when moving dirt and materials, with further control added through an oscillating serrated track system for stable ground contact and an optional float function for smoother back grading.

A number of features have been included to support operators, included a programmable and automated 2D grading system, electrohydraulic controls, and ergonomic joystick design.

A cab designed for increased visibility also aims to support operator experience. This includes a narrower front engine compartment design, the relocation of the electronic cooling system to the back of the dozer, low-profile front pillars, all-glass doors and a standard rear-view camera attached to an 8-inch touch display within the cab.

The DD130’s additional features include the fuel-efficient ECO Mode for light grading applications, DEVELON’s Fleet Management telematics system and coverage under their Smart X-Care maintenance service.
