cdeglobalJanuary 22, 2014, Siler City, N.C. – Materials washing specialists CDE Global has incorporated
in the U.S. with a new office in Siler City, North Carolina. The office will
service both the Canadian and American market. The company has also launched a
new website at www.cdeusa.com, specifically tailored towards Canada and the
U.S.

CDE will support these activities with attendance at
CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas from March 4th-8th. CONEXPO-CON/AGG will also be
the formal launch for the new M4500 wash plant for construction, mining,
recycling and industrial sands applications. With a capacity of 450tph the M4500 portable wash plant is a revolution
in modular washing equipment offering feeding, screening, sand washing and
stockpiling on a compact chassis and enabling the production of four products
to a required specification.

Over the last 20 years, CDE Global has established itself as
a supplier of wet processing technology for quarries and mines with equipment
operating throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Latin America and North
America. The success to date in North America, particularly along the East
Coast, has led to the formation of CDE Global Inc. A new base in North
Carolina, in conjunction with a new U.S. Partner, American Crushers and Screens
LLC, will facilitate further growth throughout the region

According to Tony Convery, chairman and founder of CDE
Global the arrival of the company in the USA signifies a significant
development of the washing and classification equipment available in North
America. “We have spent considerable time in the U.S. over the last 18 months
and this has confirmed to us that there are huge opportunities for us to help
operators to improve the efficiency of their operations” he says.

Mr. Convery goes on to highlight the modular nature of their
equipment range – a range of products that integrate a number of different
processes onto a single chassis. He outlines some of the benefits of this as
rapid deployment, reduced plant footprint and increased production efficiencies
all done in partnership with a commitment to ensuring quick, easy and safe
maintenance access for all operational personnel.

“Our equipment range, including the new M4500, has been
designed around the requirements of the industry in the 21st century” explains
Mr. Convery. “We pre-wire and pre-build every unit before it leaves our factory
to ensure that once we get to site we can have the plant up and running in the
shortest possible time. The integration of several processes on a single
chassis not only minimises installation time and the plant footprint but also
delivers maximum production efficiencies through a focus on transfer point
technology. There are also significant benefits to be enjoyed from the removal
of the requirement to build large supporting structures to accommodate the
processing plant.”

The equipment on offer from CDE Global can be applied across
a wide range of materials that can be classified under four headings –
Construction, Mining, Industrial Sands and Environmental.

On the construction materials side they come with an extensive
project portfolio including projects with sand and gravel, crushed rock,
scalpings and C&D waste recycling. The Mining applications for the CDE
equipment include iron ore, bauxite, copper and gold as well as significant
expertise in fines recovery and tailings management. On the Industrial Sands
side they offer equipment for use in the production of glass sands, frac sands,
filter sands and specialist golf sands while the Environmental offering
includes equipment for sludge screening in utility and industrial applications
as well as grit and gulley waste recycling.

CDE has appointed a dedicated team to develop the Canada and
U.S. market, led by Kevin McNamee, business development manager for North
America. “Our success so far in the U.S. market with construction and recycling
projects has highlighted the requirement to have our full range of services
located in-country. Our most recent North American project has been a 200tph
natural sand and gravel wash plant in North Carolina. The establishment of the
new office provides a permanent base for our team, which will include
technical, design, project management and sales functions. We are looking
forward to a busy 2014 in the U.S., with the kick-off being CONEXPO-CON/AGG in
early March.”
