July 22, 2015 – Work to fix issues in the original construction of Acadie Circle is now underway in the New Bordeaux area of Montréal.
According to CTV Montréal, the original interchange was built without proper considerations for water drainage, which has lead to significant flooding in the intersection on several occasions over the last decade.
Pavage Chenail has been hired for the $2 million project, which will involve the installation of a subterranean water retention basin. The repair will result in several road closures over the three-month construction period.
