By Andrew Macklin
December 21, 2015 – Work is set to begin on Transitway lanes west of Moodie Drive in Ottawa.
According to a report from the Ottawa Community News, the $41 million project will help to provide bus access for communities west of the city including Kanata and Stittsville.
The project, awarded to Karson Asphalt Paving, will see construction take place throughout 2016 and into 2017, with the lanes operational in the latter park of 2017. Lane and ramp closures will take place at various times on Highway 417, Moodie Drive, Corkstown Road and Holly Acres Road as a result of the construction.
