
July 22, 2015 – Initial work on the construction of the $1.2 billion Regina by-pass road has begun this week.
According to an article from the Regina Leader-Post, the consortium taking on the project has begun to do some test drilling and surveying work in regards to new overpasses being built.
Following this initial work, which is expected to take just a few weeks and have minimal impact on traffic, construction will begin on overpass and roadway construction.
Three key overpasses, those near Highways 33, 46, and 48, have a completion date of the fall of 2017.
