Road construction worker killed near Sebringville

June 13, 2016 – A road construction worker has been killed near the town of Sebringville west of Kitchener.

According to an AM980 report, 54-year-old Murray Hyde was killed after the truck he had previously driven began moving, striking the man before knocking over a hydro pole.

Hyde was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Local police, fire and EMS personnel, along with the Ministry of Labour and the Coroner, are investigating the incident.
