Worker killed on Vancouver road construction site

March 21, 2014, Vancouver, B.C. – A 56-year-old worker has been
killed in an industrial accident on a road construction site in West Vancouver,
B.C.

According to a CBC news report, the worker was doing
maintenance of an excavator when the machine shifted, pinning him underneath
the machine. When the worker was finally reached underneath the machine, he
could not be revived.
