- COVID-19 and the Government of Ontario’s response to it has had a significant impact on construction industry employers. Over the past two months, contractors have experienced – among other things – layoffs, work refusals, offers of government subsidies and new expectations for health and safety protocols.
- Assessing your organization’s risk and developing a plan forward requires an understanding of government legislation and regulations, collective agreements, employment contracts and common law principles, all of which are being viewed through the lens of a global pandemic.
