Volvo CE makes changes to its management team by adding Mats Sköldberg, Scott Young and Jay Parker to new or expanded roles.

ESKILSTUNA, Sweden – Volvo CE has shaken up its management team with the appointment of three new members to its executive management team, including a new head of technology, regional head of sales for North America, and executive management head of digital and IT.

Mats Sköldberg has been appointed Volvo CE’s new head of technology, promoted from his position as the company’s regional head of technology for China. Sköldberg will replace Thomas Bitter in the role, who will now be heading up the company’s compact business unit.

With former head of sales for North America, Stephen Roy, leaving his position to be president of Volvo CE subsidiary Mack Trucks earlier this year, Scott Young will now assume the role, overseeing the strategic direction for one of the company’s largest markets.

Volvo CE’s head of digital and IT since 2020, Jay Parker, will continue his role overseeing the company’s digital efforts, with his position now expanding, added to  the company’s executive management board.
