Huddig announces new incoming CEO

HUDIKSVALL, Sweden – Swedish heavy equipment manufacturer Huddig has announced the appointment of Håkan Bäckström as the company’s incoming CEO, following the retirement of current CEO, Lars Lindahl, later this year.

Bäckström joins Huddig from his position as former CEO of Hexatronic Cables & Interconnect Systems AB and will succeed Lindahl’s 20 years of leadership at the company. Following his retirement, Lindahl will remain with the company as a member of its board.

“It feels very inspiring to join the company in a phase where we will intensify our market presence and continue to establish Huddig internationally,” Bäckström said of his new position. “I am passionate about Huddig’s products and want to continue to drive development together with customers and partners.”
