October 14, 2014, Kamloops, B.C. – The final stage of a challenging
twinning project along a stretch of the Trans Canada Highway in B.C. is going
to tender this week.

twinning project along a stretch of the Trans Canada Highway in B.C. is going
to tender this week.

 

According to a report from the Journal of Commerce, the
tender was released this week for the twinning of the 3.1 km stretch of the
Trans Canada highway from Pritchard to Hoffman’s Bluff.

The overall project involves twinning of 16km of the Trans
Canada highway between Kamloops and Chase. The 3.1kmthathasgone to tender is
the second and final phase of the project.

 

Work on the 3.1km stretch is expected to begin in the spring
of 2015 and be completed by the fall of 2016.
