TORONTO – Aecon has selected Entuitive to lead the design management partnership for the build of an elevated guideway on its Eglinton Crosstown West Extension project.

Entuitive will lead a design management partnership comprised of Consor and Typsa, with both firms also selected by Aecon. As part of their role in this process, Entuitive will provide design management services and bridge and construction engineering

Sustainability consulting will also be overseen by Entuitive to ensure compliance with Infrastructure Canada’s Climate Lens requirement and the Envision for Sustainable Infrastructure certification.

The elevated guideway will form a 1.5-kilometre section of the overall Eglinton Crosstown LRT extension, which will total 9.2 kilometres in length from Mount Dennis Station to Renforth Drive. The extension will feature connections to both UP Express and Kitchener GO train services, along with access to TTC, GO and MiWay bus services.
