The value proposition of UAVs

October 15, 2015  By  Andrew Macklin

October 15, 2015 – Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have grown into an important business tool in Canada. It has grown in its industrial use, becoming a new staple of business in several sectors across the country.

So why is it that more and more companies in the resources, law enforcement, firefighting, security and agriculture sectors are investing in this new technology. And how is government regulation controlling what can and can’t be done with these new machines in the skies above us?

Our colleagues at Wings magazine will host UAVs: The Value Proposition, a one-hour webinar presented by Eric Edwards, on November 10th at 2:00p.m. EST. Edwards is the Past Chair of Unmanned Systems Canada and President of Montreal-based Xiphose Technologies.

Edwards’ presentation will walk you through the use of UAVs in different industrial sectors, how the technology is evolving, the benefits to business and the regulatory realities behind the use of UAVs.
