March 27, 2013 – The Xcentric
Ripper XR40 attachment debuted in North America at the 2011 ConExpo trade show in
Las Vegas, Nev., where ShearForce Equipment quickly signed on to become Canada’s
exclusive dealer of Xcentric Rippers.
With
units already working in forestry, mining, road building, and construction
industries across B.C. and Alta., the Xcentric Ripper is set to make a big
impact across Canada.
The
Xcentric Ripper works in nearly every type of material, particularly in medium
hardness rock with natural fracturing and layers. Using patented Impact
Vibration Accumulation Technology, the attachment works with the natural
rigidity of the rock, and the vibrations that are produced shake the material
to deepen cracks for easier breakup.
The Xcentric
Ripper is a tool for demolition, excavation, slag recycling, dredging,
trenching, underground mining, and can be used for underwater applications due to an
enclosed pressurized chamber in the attachment head that does not need an air
supply.
