UK Concrete Show changes ownership

NOTTINGHAM, England – The United Kingdom and Europe’s premier concrete and cement show has a new owner. The QMJ Group, a UK-based quarrying and construction sector event organizer, has announced their acquisition of the UK Concrete Show.

The UK Concrete Show is the only dedicated trade show for UK and Ireland’s concrete industry. This acquisition will also see the forthcoming launch of “Concrete Connect,” a digital news platform for the industry at large.

In addition to the UK Concrete Show, the QMJ Group also produces the international quarrying trade show Hillhead, along with Agg-Net, a digital news platform focusing on the UK aggregates industry.

Former owner of the UK Concrete Show, Marianne Callaghan, is looking forward to the direction that QMJ will take the show under their new ownership.

“We are thrilled to be able to pass The UK Concrete Show on to the QMJ Group, who are ideally placed to build on its success through the obvious synergies that they will deliver from their existing events and media channels,” she said.

The 2024 edition of the UK Concrete Show will take place from March 20 to 21 at NEC Birmingham.
