News’ iTeam is causing the Saskatchewan government to launch a review of how
highway construction projects are monitored.
According to the research done by the CBC, 46 per cent of
highway construction projects in 2012-2013 were not finished on time. Contractors
delayed some of the work on purpose in order to pursue other work
opportunities, according to information revealed as part of the investigation.
