Motion to purchase two Ontario hydraulics manufacturers

SUDBURY, Ont. – Equipment replacement parts distributor Motion has signed an acquisition agreement with Ontario’s Perfetto Manufacturing and SER Hydraulics.

Though financial terms of the deals were not disclosed, under the agreements, Motion will acquire all operating assets of both companies. Both deals are expected to be finalized by the end of this month.

Both companies operate out of Sudbury, Ont. with SER Hydraulics established in 1978 and Perfetto serving the market since 1986. Both companies provide engineered solutions, service and equipment for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, complex power units and other assets for fluid power systems.
