Highway interchange plans revealed

November 20, 2015  By  Andrew Macklin

November 20, 2015 – Plans for a new Highway 403 interchange near Paris, Ont. were officially revealed to the public on Thursday.

According to an article from the Brantford Expositor, concept drawings for the proposed interchange at Highway 403/Bishopsgate Road were unveiled at a public meeting at the Brant Sports Complex in Paris.

BT Engineering, the consultant for the project, was on hand to answer questions in regards to the concept, as well as proposed improvements to the Highway 403/Rest Acres Road interchange, which is located a few kilometres east of the one proposed at Bishopsgate Rd.

Several factors have led to the two highway projects, including an increase in industrial traffic in the area, current traffic from the agriculture industry and an uptick in pit and quarry activity.
