September 8, 2015 – The rapid growth of the City of Aurora has local officials calling for a new interchange to link the community with Highway 404.
The community already has two transportation links to the highway, which runs north to the community from Lake Ontario to the east of downtown Toronto.
According to the story on yorkregion.com, the new interchange at St. John’s Sideroad is in York Region’s Transportation Master Plan, which runs through 2021, but is not on the region’s current 10-year construction plan.
