enhancements to meet critical performance needs for medium to heavy-duty
industrial applications. It offers original equipment manufacturers (OEMs),

quality double acting piston seal.

The redesigned Hallite 714 has a reinforced, heat
stabilized, thermoplastic sealing face with a precision no gap step-cut joint,
easing installation and allowing the seal to pass over ports — making it an
ideal choice for double acting telescopic cylinders. It also features a rugged
extrusion-resistant design that will perform in high-pressure off-highway
applications with considerable extrusion gap.

"The design used for the 714 seal is noteworthy because
of its many benefits," says Ryan Webster, Director Engineering for
Hallite. "It employs profiled nitrile rubber energizer that responds
quickly to pressure changes, providing excellent sealing characteristics under
a wide range of pressure conditions. It also offers a concentrated and tangent
contact patch under the sealing face for improved dynamic sealing ability.
Because of this redesign and release, customers now have access to a more
durable, precise double acting piston seal as well as a greatly expanded
portfolio of inch sizes."

The new Hallite 714 replaces the company's legacy 714
series, and it is available in inch and metric ranges.
