John Deere has added the 444 mid-size model to its G-Tier wheel loader line-up, a 124-horsepower machine with an operating weight ranging 24,887 to 26,325 pounds and a bucket capacity of 2.5 to 2.75 yards.

The model joins the 544 and 644 in the G-Tier line-up and offers a durable and economic option for operators looking for wheel loader solutions, the company said.

“Our customers are always seeking the perfect solutions to meet their needs, and the introduction of the 444 G-Tier was a direct response to the demand for reliable and more economical options within our lineup of wheel loaders,” said Drew Miller, Deere’s global product manager of wheel loaders.

The machine is also compatible with a range of optional equipment, including snow blades, grapples, a high-lift for expanded reach and a debris package with a centrifugal air precleaner and auto-reversing fan.

Fluid and fuel refills can be performed through ground level access, and the cab features ergonomic designs including adjustable controls and added floor storage space.
