BEUMER Group acquires sustainable belt conveyor company

SOMERSET, NJ – The BEUMER Group has expanded its portfolio in the cement, mining, and bulk material transport industries with the acquisition of The Hendrik Group, a Connecticut-based leader in air-supported belt conveyors.

This acquisition supports the BEUMER Group’s commitment towards sustainability, specifically in the fields of conveying and loading systems, with the air-supported systems offering an environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional conveying methods.

The Hendrik Group has specialized in air-supported conveying technology since its founding in 1983 in Woodbury, Connecticut by Henk Harksuiker. The company is currently overseen by his son, operations manager Rik Hartsuiker.
