Strongco gives Canadian customers opportunity to demo Volvo CE’s electric equipment

(Photo credit: Strongco) MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Strongco are offering customers across Canada an opportunity to test drive Volvo CE’s range of electric construction equipment this fall with the Drive the Future Demo Days events.
The event series began in Ontario earlier this month, with showcases following in Atlantic Canada and Laval, QC. A second Quebec event, on Sept. 22, will take place in St. Augustin before the series wraps up in Alberta on Oct. 4.
Equipment featured in these interactive displays includes electric excavators, wheel loaders, and soil compaction machines. Showcases also feature Strongco personnel in attendance to offer advice and insight on the machines and their operating methods.
Strongco said response to these events has been positive. Stephen George, vice president of Strongco’s CE division in Eastern Canada, shared that customer curiosity trumped Maritime weather conditions at the Atlantic Canada instalment.
“[Customers’] enthusiasm prevailed, and they were genuinely impressed by the innovative offerings despite the less-than-perfect weather conditions,” he said.
