NAPA Announces Details for December Conference

its plans for an upcoming 21st Century Asphalt Pavements conference
to be held in December of this year.

its plans for an upcoming 21st Century Asphalt Pavements conference
to be held in December of this year.

The
conference will look at meetings the demands of today’s customer, focusing on
techniques for delivering high-quality paving projects at minimal cost.
According to NAPA’s website, attendees can expect a wide range of modern
solutions to be discussed: “Participants in this conference will learn how to
incorporate sustainability into projects economically using warm-mix asphalt
(WMA), reclaimed asphalt pavements (RAP), recycled asphalt shingles (RAS), thin
overlays, and porous asphalt. Presentations will also cover how to set
specification limits, how to use quality assurance, when and where to use
modified binders, and how to construct longitudinal joints to assure value and
performance.  Also included will be a session on Perpetual Pavements, the
most cost-effective pavements over the long term.”

 

The
conference will be held on December 5th and 6th at the
Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel. Delegate fees start at $300 per person, while
faculty and student fees start at $150 per person. For full details about the
