February 19, 2020  By Georgia-Pacific

Atlanta – Georgia-Pacific Chemicals announced Ryan P. Lynch as senior commercial development manager. Lynch will be supporting the growth of the asphalt additives business in the U.S. and Canada. Georgia-Pacific Chemicals is marketing these products, sold under the name of TUFFTREK, to the paving and roofing industries.

“Through a dynamic collaboration with Flint Hills Resources, we have developed a line of asphalt additives that is being very well received by the industry,” said Jim Arduino, GPC director of marketing and new product development. “Ryan’s asphalt background helps us bridge the gap between the application requirements of our customers and the chemical expertise at Georgia-Pacific Chemicals.”

Lynch most recently worked for 11 years in the Asphalt Sales and Marketing Division of Flint Hills Resources (FHR) where he also took on the commercial development of innovative asphalt-related businesses including shingle/roofing and industrial specialties. He has been active in various state asphalt paving associations. Prior to Flint Hills, Lynch served over four years in the U.S. Navy, with deployment in Iraq. Lynch graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in History.
