Regardless of wood type or species, moisture content, temperature, and other factors, one instruction is common among all colorant manufacturers – “mix thoroughly.”

BGTC series gear drive mixers are available with air, electric, and variable speed electric operation, from ¾ to 2 HP, to provide various levels of torque.
Units include shaft, folding impellers to easily fit through 6-inch tote openings, and expandable mounting bracket. Toggle clamps directly to steel tote cages from 34” to 48” wide. All models feature 90-degree, right-angle gear reducers for low-profile configuration. INDCO BGTC-series mixers are ideal for mulch dyes and colorants as well as other heavier bodied primers, and coatings, including those with high solids content.
The totally enclosed, fan cooled (TEFC) and totally enclosed, non-ventilated (TENV) models are supplied with cord, plug and switch. Explosion-proof (EP) models must be wired by customer. Variable-speed electric models include a speed controller pre-wired and mounted on the mixer. Options including lifting eyes and forklift channel allow easy handling for installation and removal.
