HD Hyundai’s construction safety technology takes home two CES Innovation Awards

LAS VEGAS – HD Hyundai has received three Consumer Electronic Show (CES) Innovation Awards, distributed by the Consumer Technology Association to honour outstanding technologies, products and platforms.

The company’s XiteSolution platform, designed to be integrated with excavators to prevent on-site accidents, won in both the Vehicle Tech & Advanced Mobility category and the Mobile Devices, Accessories & Apps category.

XiteSolution uses smart collision mitigation technology and sensor fusion systems to automatically stop machinery upon detection of workers or objects within range.

Avikus, an HD Hyundai company, also took home an award in the category of Vehicle Tech & Advanced Mobility for the NeuBoat Navi autonomous navigation system for boats. This marks the second consecutive year the product has won this category.

The awards will be given out at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, which runs from January 9 to 12.
