NASHVILLE, Tenn.– Bridgestone Americas introduced its new V-STEEL Z TRACTION (VZT) construction tire at the March 25 to 27 World of Asphalt and AGG1 Aggregate Academy & Expo in Nashville, Tennessee.

The VZT is the company’s latest 25-inch product for loaders and graders.

“Bridgestone is excited to officially debut our new VZT construction tire at AGG1 in Nashville, the home of our Americas headquarters,” said Rob Seibert, president, Off-the-Road, U.S. and Canada. “With job-site productivity top of mind for construction operators, the VZT is engineered to help deliver enhanced tire life and keep construction sites moving.“

Among the VZT’s features are:

  • Advanced tread compounds engineered to improve heat, cut and tear, and increase total tire life by up to 15 per cent compared to previous generation products.
  • A new tread pattern design with 9 per cent improved traction, with low-angle center block and self cleaning wide shoulder groovers for wet, muddy surfaces and challenging terrain.
  • Optimal sidewall shape and protectors to help minimize damage and enhance defense against tears and cuts.

“You’ll see some of the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) vehicles with the VJT. The VJT is very popular with our OEM customers and VMT is very popular with our dealer customers, so this (VZT) takes kind of the best of both worlds,” explains Bridgestone’s Brian Douglas.

The VZT comes in five sizes: 17.5R25, 20.5R25, 23.5R25, 26.5R25, and 29.5R25.
