Superior releases enhanced conveyor idler

MORRIS, MN – Superior Industries has released a new idler conveyor which the company is calling “the most significant redesign to conveyor idlers in decades.”

The new idler includes a number of disc improvements such as an ironclad weld joint at the tube to end disc and a flush end disc to prevent material blockage.

The conveyor’s protection system is developed from a decade of testing, along with the company’s $4.5 million investment in researching and improving manufacturing equipment across its own production locations.

This protection systems includes a securely-housed weld bead located within the roll structure to ensure durability, along with a titanium seal for extended longevity.
