Registration is now open for Annex Business Media’s fifth annual Women in Construction virtual event. 

On March 3 at 1 p.m. ET, leaders from across Canada’s construction industries will come together to discuss the evolving roles and experiences of women both on and off the jobsite. 

Learn from and engage with some of the top voices of the industry on a variety of issues surrounding the past, present and future roles of women in Canada’s construction sector. 

This year’s agenda includes:

1. Inclusivity in Training

This session will explore how to cast a wide net to attract new workers, make those workers feel welcomed and included at the jobsite, and provide them with inclusive, comprehensive and continuous training.

2. Transitioning From Tools to Management

This panel discussion will focus on the dynamics of leading a team of employees and the nuances of changing roles in the construction industry.

Test your legal knowledge – and learn a thing or two about your rights and protections – during our interactive Kahoot session featuring Luiza Vikhnovich, a lawyer at Sherrard Kuzz specializing in labour law and workplace harassment.

4. Safety/Belonging on the Jobsite

This panel discussion will tackle the intersecting issues of safety and belonging in construction environments, and explore the practices for cultivating both across your daily operations.
