John Deere
John Deere SmartGrade is now available on the 650K crawler dozer, joining the 700K, 750K and 850K models equipped with the technology. The integrated Topcon 3D-MC2 Grade Control System improves job site accuracy and work quality — delivering precise grading performance while eliminating vulnerable external masts and cables. The 650K SmartGrade boasts a 104 hp (78 kW) EPA Final Tier 4 John Deere engine. The model’s cab-forward designs make visibility, safety, and precise grading a priority. Exclusive Total Machine Control comes standard with this model. Since SmartGrade is integrated into the machines, it removes the need to install blade-mounted sensors and components daily, reducing setup time and allowing operators to get to work. Eliminating external cables to the masts reduces breakage, and the removal of the masts from the blade eliminates vulnerability to damage and theft. The Auto SmartGrade feature identifies the soil type and easily adjusts the machine to new terrain, without operators having to adjust the blades manually.

E-Z Drill
E-Z Drill’s dust collection systems have met the new OSHA Table 1 requirements for more than 15 years. The vacuum system uses the same air compressor as the concrete dowel drill to effectively collect dust directly from the drilled holes and store it in a collector. The Dust Collection System can be used with all E-Z Drill models with minimal additional air requirements – just 40 to 160 cfm, depending on the model.

Aquajet Systems
Aquajet Systems AB introduces the world’s smallest hydrodemolition robot, the Aqua Cutter 410V. The 410V’s design makes it suitable for a wide variety of concrete removal tasks, such as renovation and bridge and road repair. The 2,756-lb. Aqua Cutter 410V uses 15,000- to 40,000-psi water jets to efficiently remove as much as 9 cu. ft. per hour of concrete. Operators can control the 410V from a safe distance using the unit’s radio remote control, either wirelessly or with a hard wire. Aqua Cutter robots feature unique ceramic nozzles specifically designed for demanding hydrodemolition applications. The nozzles last 300 to 350 hours, depending on the water quality.
