World of Asphalt/AGG1 Preview

The aggregates and road construction industry will gather in Music City for this year’s equipment showcase.

Nashville’s Music City Center will host World of Asphalt/AGG1 2016 from March 22 to 24. The biggest manufacturers of aggregates and road construction equipment from the global marketplace will showcase their newest machines, technologies and innovations at this year’s show.

Here is our preview of what some of the biggest names in the Canadian industry will have on display in Nashville.

Wirtgen Group  [ Booth 2504 ]
Wirtgen America will show the new Vögele MT 3000-2i low-profile material transfer vehicle, the new Super 2000-3i 10-ft. asphalt tracked paver, successor to the Vision 5200-2i, and the new Super 700-3i small asphalt paver. The Wirtgen W 60 Ri, new W 120 CFi, and W 220 cold mill with 8 ft., 2 in. drum will be exhibited. Hamm will show the HD+ 110i VO roller with vibration/oscillation compaction, and the HD+ 120i VV HF compactor with HCQ intelligent compaction technology. A Kleemann Mobirex 110 ZSi EVO2.

Flexco  [ Booth 2941 ]
At this year’s AGG1 Expo Flexco will be exhibiting a variety of belt conveyor solutions, including the FMS Medium-Duty Secondary Cleaner and the Y-Type Secondary Cleaner. Experienced Flexco team members will be available to discuss the health of your entire conveyor system and help attendees identify challenges and ways to increase the efficiency and productivity of their operations.

John Deere  [ Booth 2622 ]
The John Deere 944K Wheel Loader is equipped with a 536 hp, PowerTech EPA Interim Tier 4 engine coupled with a hybrid-electric drive that delivers up to 40 per cent fuel savings compared to conventional drivetrains. The hybrid-electric drive system is designed to be more dependable and the wheel loader is an excellent choice for maintaining stockpiles and heaping hoppers in quarry operations and other production facilities.

Telsmith  [ Booth 1804 ]
Come to AGG1 and learn more about Mining Resource Solutions, a brand that sources, manufactures, markets, and distributes OEM quality replacement parts in support of aggregate and mining equipment worldwide. An initial product offering of manganese, bronze parts, head and shaft assemblies, upper/lower frames, toggles and toggle seats, as well as drivetrain components are available now.

CASE  [ Booth 2014 ]
The 921F wheel loader meets Tier 4 Final emissions standards with a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) solution that treats emissions separately with Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) and does not require the engine to re-circulate exhaust gas, resulting in a 10 per cent improvement in fuel economy. The wheel loader uses powerful hydraulics in addition to features such as four programmable power modes, heavy-duty axles and an optional five-speed transmission to achieve excellent productivity and fuel efficiency.

PPI  [ Booth 3230 ]
Visitors will have a chance to look at a wide array of CEMA D, E and F idler products that have been designed to solve some of the most common conveyor problems, such as belt tracking, belt speed monitoring and material buildup issues. They can also get a firsthand look at the most innovative and reliable line of conveyor pulleys available today with our exclusive Pro Duty drum pulley and Herringbone Wing both on display.

Phoenix Processing Equipment  [ Booth 1021 ]
Phoenix Process Equipment Company will be showcasing their innovative Bucket Wheel technology. The Bucket Wheel is designed for the recovery, de-sliming and dewatering of sand and other granular bulk materials, with solids recoveries of 99%+ at very low power requirements. Phoenix also provides full systems for sand and minerals classification; fines slurry separation, thickening and dewatering; separating lightweight, deleterious materials from aggregate and minerals products; and for dewatering tailings slurries from aggregate and mineral processing plants.

Volvo CE  [ Booth 2121 ]
For World of Asphalt/AGG1, Volvo Construction Equipment will be discussing their Tier 4 final paver lineup, as well as educating attendees on the benefits of Volvo Intelligent Compaction with Density Direct and the asphalt compactor models that use this new technology.

Deister  [BOOTH 2404]
Deister Machine Company, Inc. will highlight the New Deister (EMF-Series) Two-Mass Electromechanical Vibrating Feeder at World of Asphalt/AGG1. The new feeder is designed to allow greater control over high-capacity feed rates and productivity, while lowering costs per ton in a wide variety of aggregate applications. Engineered to deliver greater reliability and ease of maintenance, the Deister EMF Series features a machine weight that is more robust. Units incorporate a high-profile infeed lip; and a heavy-duty formed deck with replaceable liners.

Polydeck Corporation [BOOTH 3742]
PaneLite is Polydeck’s new series of screen panels that contain a high performance composite insert in place of a traditional steel insert. This insert reduces panel weight by nearly two pounds per square foot without sacrificing strength.
