
December 14, 2015 – A road construction worker received life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car while unloading maintenance equipment.
According to the Mississauga News, the 30-year-old worker was unloading equipment from a roadside trailer when the trailer was hit by an SUV. The worker had to be airlifted to a Toronto hospital after sustaining life-threatening injuries.
The 75-year-old driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries in the crash.
