What we build:

Graham is an integrated construction solutions partner for buildings, industrial, infrastructure, water and development clients throughout North America. From schools, hospitals, and roadways to power plants, oil refineries and public transit, we have earned a reputation for delivering any project, of any size, in any location. Innovation, safety, continuous improvement and working closely with local communities where we operate are the cornerstones of everything we do.

Who we are:

As an employee-owned company, our people are passionate about every aspect of a project. Our systems, unique matrix organizational structure, resources and network of locations enable us to forge true construction solutions partnerships with our clients. Partnerships that are built on transparency and straightforwardness: the longstanding values that underpin our culture and ensure extraordinary outcomes for every project.

Today, with over nine decades of experience, we are more than 2,200 loyal employees working in 17 major professional, technical and administrative categories, in 24 offices across North America. We are a growing and diversified organization with big-company resources, small-town roots and a caring culture.

Building a Culture of Inclusion

As one of North America’s fully integrated construction companies, we strive to be a part of making the industry a positive place to work for everyone. Together, we desire to be the best at what we do, regardless of gender. A more inclusive culture helps us retain top talent, strengthen performance and meet our commitments. The women we hire helps make our business better. Their expertise and perspective drive us towards our vision and, ultimately, helps to ensure we deliver our clients’ visions.

This year we were proud to launch our inaugural Women In Construction virtual forum to celebrate the amazing contributions women make in construction. During this day-long event we had the opportunity to network and learn from women across our business. We heard different perspectives and shared ideas about how we can keep moving forward, as a company and as an industry. This is just one example of how we’re committed to become an inclusive and diverse workforce that propels positive change in our company and industry.

In addition, this past summer we announced the release of our DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Commitment Statement, formalizing our commitment to transparency, revaluating our internal practices and evolving our culture. The intention of our DEI commitment statement is to unify and align the organization. This statement is the foundation of our purpose and our intention to truly build a culture of inclusion. Embedding DEI into our business requires time and considerable effort. We are applying a DEI “lens” to everything we do. Examining policies, procedures, training and development to ensure we are promoting an inclusive culture and examining the employee experience for a diverse variety of employee needs. DEI is a journey, while we progress in our diversity, equity and inclusion plan and initiatives, we are committed to this journey.
