Throughout the aggregates industry, John Bennington is recognized as the dean of wet processing technologies. That’s why his Superior colleagues refer to him as the “Professor.” Before Superior, Bennington held sales and management roles at Metso and the company formerly known as Greystone, before Superior’s acquisition in 2014.

Tyson Craiggs is the past-president of the B.C. Stone Sand and Gravel Association and aggregate resource manager for B.C. and the Yukon for Terus Construction Ltd.

Alex is a Civil Engineer with around 15 years of experience in the industry, starting in Quality Control for Dufferin Concrete (Oldcastle) while undertaking his degree at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. After graduating, Alex moved into Dufferin Aggregates working at various pits & quarries in a variety of roles, eventually serving as Strategic Advisor for the company’s senior leadership. With a passion for variety and travel to different plants, Alex joined Polydeck in April 2013, growing the brand’s recognition in Canada. Recognized as “Top 10 Under 40” by Rock to Road in 2014, and “Member of The Year” by the Ontario Stone, Sand & Gravel Association for 2020, Alex has grown to be a valuable resource to his customers any time they have process and screening issues.
At home, Alex and his wife Jen have two daughters, Cassandra (Cassie) and Evelyn (Evie). Whenever able to, Alex enjoys carpentry, home renovation and playing in the water or snow with his children depending on the season.
