TTC begins work on subway station to increase accessibility
August 15, 2022 By Toronto Star
The TTC will begin construction on Museum subway station to make it more accessible.
Installation of two new elevators and a second entrance to the subway station have already begun, a spokesperson for the TTC said in an email to the Toronto Star.
The $26-million project is designed to make the station safer, more accessible and easier to navigate.
Several lanes of traffic will be closed on Queen’s Park between Bloor Street West and the Queen’s Park Circle to accommodate construction until December.
