Tingley added the Pulsar CSA green patch safety boots to its line of products.

The safety, innovations, and comfort enhancing features make Pulsar an ideal knee boot for workers in a wide range of food processing, municipal, and light industrial applications. “The CSA Green Patch Pulsars are durable and safe and can be worn almost anywhere that comfortable, waterproof boots are needed”, said Robert N. Petersen, senior product manager for Tingley.

“Listening to our customers, we realized that these boots had to be more than just safe. They had to be stylish, comfortable, slip resistant and offer innovations not available in other boots – and we needed to do all this at a great value.” continued Petersen. “We worked closely with users and we leveraged over 100 years of safety knowledge to develop these CSA Z195 full safety boots for Canada.”

The CSA Pulsar boots features a Grade 1 protective toe cap, a puncture resistant midsole, and are ESR hazard rated, while excellent slip resistance on both wet-clean and wet-contaminated surfaces is achieved by Tingley’s self-cleaning Chevron-Plus tread pattern.

Patent pending innovations include a Calf-Relief Expansion (CRE) gusset that expands up to 1.5 inches allowing more calf comfort than ordinary boots and Tread Wear Indicators (TWI) show the point at which half the treads have worn away.

The boots are 15” height and have a 12” cutline to facilitate fast and clean height modification and employ a contour, cushioned insole that absorbs shock and enhances comfort. Pulsar boots are injection molded for a seamless construction that is 100 per cent liquid proof and provides resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, alkalies, fats and oils.
