Thunder Bay invests $40 million for infrastructure
May 19, 2015 By Andrew Macklin
May 19, 2015 – The City of Thunder Bay will invest upwards of $40 million on infrastructure projects throughout the community during the 2015 construction season.
According to a report from The Chronicle Journal, several significant roads will see improvements this year, including important stretches of the Harbour Expressway and Arthur Street.
The community will also see bridge work at the Boulevard Lake Dam as part of a series of moves to rehabilitate the dam in 2015 and 2016. As part of the rehabilitation efforts, the lake will be drained in mid-June to allow for the installation of a coffer dam.
