July 25, 2013, Rensselaer, Ind. – Talbert Manufacturing has
hired Aaron Hickman as its controller. He will be responsible for maintaining,
tracking and reporting the company's financial data.
Hickman has 15 years of experience in the manufacturing
industry and 26 years of accounting-related experience overall. Most recently,
he was the senior financial analyst at the Sealy, Inc. Components Group in
Rensselaer, Ind., where the company manufactures mattresses and bedsprings. At
Sealy, he was responsible for financial reporting, monthly variance analyses,
consolidation of operating budgets for three plants, and corporate cost
accounting support. Hickman also served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He
earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Purdue University, West
Lafayette, Ind.
