Strongco Officially Opens Acheson Branch

in Acheson, Alberta. The 37,150 sq.ft. facility is situated on 6.5 acres and is
located in the Parkland Industrial Park in Acheson on the northwest side of
Edmonton.

The new
facility is designated as a Volvo branch, and will carry the full line of
products from Volvo Construction Equipment as well as other leading brands.

 

“This is
a particularly opportune time to open this new branch as the Alberta market is
showing very positive signs of recovery,” said Bob Dryburgh, President and
Chief Executive Officer of Strongco. “It supports our strategy of having well
located branches providing product support and services to our customers.”

 

The grand
opening celebration featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony along with displays of
Volvo Construction Equipment, as well as machinery from Dressta and Terex
Finlay. The Acheson branch represents Strongco’s 26th location in
Canada.
