
October 6, 2015 – The Ontario Ministry of Labour is calling for the implementation of new safety measures at a Sudbury road construction site after a 58-year-old woman was struck by a road grader.
According to a CBC report, the woman was attempting to cross through the downtown site when she was run over by the grader.
The measures called for by MOL including the construction of fencing around the work area, as well as the use of a signaler for all vehicles while in operation on the site.
