February 9, 2017 - The St. John’s Airport Authority is partway through a massive airport renewal project that includes rehabilitating its runways, building new roadways and parking lots and expanding the terminal. St. John’s-based Pyramid Construction is working to help make this happen, in what is otherwise a slump in construction activity.
February 7, 2017 - Over two kilometres of Highway 5 are now widened to include a passing lane and a commercial vehicle safety enforcement (CVSE) pullout has been built, easing congestion and bringing safer conditions along this route.
February 3, 2017 - A large repaving project will get underway this spring in the East Kootenay, improving driving conditions on Highways 3/95 and 95A, and along side roads in the Kimberley and Cranbrook areas.
January 27, 2017 - The provincial and federal governments will be widening approximately five kilometres of Highway 401 between Hespeler Road and Townline Road in the Kitchener-Waterloo, Ont. area from six lanes to 10 lanes.
January 26, 2017 - The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has partnered with the City of Prince George on a planning study that is currently underway for Highway 16 in Prince George, announced MLA for Prince George-Valemount Shirley Bond, on behalf of Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Todd Stone.
January 25, 2017 - Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) have selected LINK 427 as the preferred proponent to design, build, finance and maintain the Highway 427 Expansion project.
January 13, 2017 - Two contracts for preliminary construction work on the George Massey Tunnel Replacement Project in B.C. will go to tender this week. The contracts are for site preparation in order to improve ground conditions for future lane widening.
January 5, 2017 - No more free rides for Ontario’s commuters in the Greater Toronto Area. Starting February 1, tolls for driving on the Highway 407 extension and Highway 412 will begin.
December 22, 2016 - A project to install inlaid durable pavement markings at two locations in the southern interior is now complete.
December 14, 2016 – Construction is now finished on three more kilometres of upgrades that will improve safety and reliability on the Trans-Canada Highway.
December 6, 2016 - Works Department Transportation Design at the Regional Municipality of Durham used a camera mounted on traffic signals to capture the majority of the construction and traffic staging for a pilot project at the intersection at Harwood Avenue and Bayly Street in Ajax, Ont.
December 6, 2016 - The Region of Durham in southern Ontario is looking for new solutions to combat major rutting and shoving issues it is experiencing on asphalt pavements across major arterial intersections.
November 29, 2016 - With the cut of a ribbon, Alberta’s Northeast Anthony Henday Drive ring road project was officially opened this fall. That innocuous snip signalled something momentous for Edmonton and Alberta’s surrounding northern communities – something that has been talked about, planned and in progress for more than 60 years.
November 25, 2016 - The Inuvik Tuktoyaktuk Highway is entering its final season of winter construction. 
November 11, 2016 - Ontario continues to make progress on the expansion of Highway 7, which will improve traffic flow, create jobs and support local economic growth in the Waterloo Region.
