December 11, 2017 - As part of a countrywide, $2.6-billion infrastructure rehabilitation program, Parks Canada launched a $25.5-million, five-bridge replacement program in Nova Scotia’s Cape Breton Highlands National Park in 2015. The last of the new bridges opened this year.
December 7, 2017 - A $27 million twinning project east of Estevan, Sask. along Highway 39 aimed at improving safety and efficiency for motorists and truckers, officially opened on November 16.

November 21, 2017 - Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Metrolinx have issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to five prequalified teams to build and finance the Lakeshore East - East Corridor Expansion project. The infrastructure upgrades are required to accommodate the planned expansion of GO Transit rail service on the Lakeshore East corridor.
November 9, 2017 - Work will begin in early spring 2018 to replace the Ksi Sii Aks (Tseax) River Bridge in the Nisga’a Territory, which will make the crossing safer and more efficient for motorists.
November 7, 2017 – Infrastructure Ontario (IO) has released its pipeline of infrastructure and real estate projects as part of the Government of Ontario’s historic investments in public infrastructure.
November 2, 2017 - The Province of B.C. has hired professional engineer Stan Cowdell to lead the independent technical review of the George Massey Tunnel crossing.

October 3, 2017 - The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure has completed work on the $7.7-million project to replace the Highway 3 (Crowsnest) Upper Cambie Bridge.
