February 16 2018 - Saying it’s time to build a safe, reliable crossing for thousands of daily commuters, Premier John Horgan has announced that the B.C. government is moving forward with the construction of a $1.377-billion bridge to replace the aging Pattullo Bridge.
February 6, 2018 - In August 2017, the doors were thrown open on a new, 10,000-square-metre (107,650 sq. ft.) terminal building at the Iqaluit Airport on Baffin Island. The $300-million project included major repairs to the 2,623-metre (8,605 ft.) runway, and repairs and additions to the taxiway and apron system.
January 30, 2018 - Construction of the second phase of the Shoal Lake Band 40 all-weather road is set to begin, linking the community to the Trans-Canada Highway, Indigenous Services Minister Jane Philpott, Infrastructure Minister Ron Schuler, Mayor Brian Bowman, City of Winnipeg, and Chief Erwin Redsky, Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, announced today.

December 28, 2017 - Ontario has awarded a new highway maintenance contract for the Huntsville area, taking effect September 1, 2018 to Fowler Construction Company.
December 21, 2017 - Ontario has opened two new lanes on Highway 427, including a new High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane, which run southbound from Morningstar Drive to Fasken Drive.

December 11, 2017 - As part of a countrywide, $2.6-billion infrastructure rehabilitation program, Parks Canada launched a $25.5-million, five-bridge replacement program in Nova Scotia’s Cape Breton Highlands National Park in 2015. The last of the new bridges opened this year.
December 7, 2017 - A $27 million twinning project east of Estevan, Sask. along Highway 39 aimed at improving safety and efficiency for motorists and truckers, officially opened on November 16.

November 21, 2017 - Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Metrolinx have issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to five prequalified teams to build and finance the Lakeshore East - East Corridor Expansion project. The infrastructure upgrades are required to accommodate the planned expansion of GO Transit rail service on the Lakeshore East corridor.
November 9, 2017 - Work will begin in early spring 2018 to replace the Ksi Sii Aks (Tseax) River Bridge in the Nisga’a Territory, which will make the crossing safer and more efficient for motorists.
