Record road spending in Regina

May 5, 2015 – The City of Regina is proceeding with its largest road construction budget ever, with $27.1 million being spent during this construction season.

According to a Global News report, the money will be spent on 41 different projects, with $7.5 million dedicated to residential roads.

The work will include a series of major road replacements and upgrades, as well as bridge replacement on Victoria Avenue.

In order to assist motorists, the municipality is providing daily information about construction zones and road closures on its website.
