Residents fear approval of gravel pit in Rocky View Alberta

Rocky View, Alta. – For nearly three decades, Mike Edwards has been fighting a huge gravel mine proposed on the edge of his Rocky View County neighbourhood. Though the project was rejected by county councillors in 1994 and 2010, he and other residents opposed to it fear it could finally be approved at a special online public hearing this week.
