Regina to spend $86 million on infrastructure

May 6, 2016 – Construction is getting underway in Regina, with more than $86 million worth of infrastructure projects set for the 2016 season.
According to 980 CJME, the $86 million to be spent by the municipality includes $46 million for a variety of new and rehabilitated transportation projects throughout Regina. In total, $27 million will be dedicated to road and bridge work.
The money for roads and bridges will includes 58 projects throughout the city, with more than 20km of roadway undergoing rehabilitation work.
