MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – The Ontario Road Builders’ Association has released a statement in support of the finalization of the Canada Community-Building Fund Agreement (CCBF) by Canada’s Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Sean Fraser and Ontario’s Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Paul Calandra.

“ORBA commends this initiative and looks forward to continued collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of generational infrastructure projects across the province,” a statement released by the association reads.

The CCBF will see $4.7 billion invested into core infrastructure over the next five years by the federal government, with funds supporting the core infrastructure projects that align with Canada’s housing goals.

This initiative aims to ensure that the critical infrastructure needed by municipal and regional governments to support affordable housing continues to be built, maintained and expanded.
