Dec. 8, 2010 – Two bridges washed out at opposite ends of Nova Scotia in the past few months will be replaced in the next fiscal year as part of the Transportation Department’s five-year plan.
The only bridge to Meat Cove was destroyed by heavy rain in August.
A temporary Bailey bridge, a pre-fabricated span used at small crossings, is in place but a new bridge is one of 11 on the department’s list for replacement or other work in 2011-12. | READ MORE
