SMS Equipment and Takeuchi Manufacturing sign dealership agreement

SMS Equipment Inc. has announced it has signed a dealership agreement with Takeuchi Manufacturing, a global leader in compact equipment.

“We are pleased to sell and support Takeuchi’s line of compact equipment through our branches in Canada and Alaska,” said Mike Granger, president and CEO of SMS Equipment. “Takeuchi provides solutions in the compact market that are highly customizable for construction and utility applications.”

Takeuchi, established in 1963, developed the world’s first compact excavator and track loader. Continuous product innovations include hybrid technology on specific models including the TB216H mini excavator, which enables indoor use.
